SupplyCore stopped by Johnson Elementary to present a $2,000 check to support students in need. It's part of their Angel Giving Tree initiative. The donation will be used to purchase winter gear and other items for students with the greatest need this holiday season. Thank you!
Jets, don't forget tomorrow is picture retakes. If you want your child to have their pics retaken, have them dressed nice & send them with their best smile!
Picture Retake Day is December 11th.
If you are satisfied with your student's picture, no action is needed.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your package, send your package to school with student on Retake Day.
Students absent on Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. Use Retake Order Code 0100PVF.

It's Principal Appreciation Day! This state-endorsed recognition was first approved by the Governor of Illinois in 1990. Thank you to our amazing principals, assistant principals & deans for your leadership and dedication to RPS 205 students and staff!
Johnson Elementary students took the stage alongside professional artists from Opera for the Young in The Elixir of Love! The performance brought music, laughter, and lessons on friendship and forgiveness to life in a fun Old West setting for the whole school community.

It's National School Lunch Week and today is Lucky Tray Day at all RPS 205 K-12 schools! Look for the lucky stamp under your lunch tray to win a prize. If you have a winning tray, bring your tray to the kitchen team to claim your prize. Good luck!

It’s back! RPS 205’s Chicken Sandwich Contest returns! Create the most creative chicken sandwich for a chance to win a Nintendo Switch OLED & have your sandwich featured on the menu this spring! Turn in entries to your kitchen staff Oct. 14–17. Winners will be announced Nov. 17!
